Throughout history, Anatolia has been the cradle of many civilizations that constituted today’s Anatolian culture. Changing throughout ages and having transferred from one generation to the next, these cultural components have been kept alive through plays, songs, tales, folk dancing and traditions.
Being children and inheritors of these civilizations, ANATOLE Street Players aim to comprehend this culture accumulation and transfer it firstly to its own folk, the to all nations by means of theatre which will lead to cultural exchange. And they believe cultural exchange is a necessity for the development of theatre.
Besides their professional background the players have done street theatre type work since 1997 and participated in many international festivals. Additionally ANATOLE Street Players try to acrobatics, juggling and mime, dance and private skills in order to put the body language forward and to portray their message.
